The scent's discoverer: "...I arrived in Florence with a spirit of rediscovery, searching for a craftsmanship that exists nowhere else in the world. So I ventured into the narrow streets to seek out older artisans and old workshops. I always remember this perfume of Florentine artisanal paper from Florence, and I was filled with emotion at the thought that it was the same perfume the ancient scribes smelled. The scent of paper mingled with the scent of tanned leather among the workshops, and I thought I could continue my journey with my eyes closed. I wonder if it was also olfactory memory that made memories indelible."
